Prepare a Reproducible Chargeable-Weight Check
Keep the dimensions, weight and rule together. A number without its divisor and packing version cannot be audited when the supplier, warehouse, forwarder or carrier measures the cargo again.
- Group packages with identical final dimensions and calculate each group separately.
- Convert dimensions into the units required by the quoted formula.
- Multiply length, width, height and quantity, then divide by the stated divisor.
- Compare dimensional kilograms with final actual gross kilograms for the same group.
- Record the higher planning value, divisor, rounding rule and source of measurements.
- Ask for reapproval when packaging, quantity, carrier, service or divisor changes.

Should I use 5000 or 6000 as the divisor?
