Does the highest carton count make the safest pallet?
No. Compression, edge support, stability, weight, handling and receiving rules can require a lower count.
Can cartons be mixed or interlocked?
This tool deliberately uses one uniform orientation. A mixed or interlocked pattern needs a reviewed physical plan.
Should pallet height be included?
Yes. Maximum loaded height includes the pallet unless the accepting specification clearly states otherwise.
Why reserve edge clearance?
A warehouse may prohibit overhang or require handling space. Enter the accepted rule rather than assuming the full footprint is usable.
